Thermal Stitch Potholder

potholderLearn a new stitch while crocheting a useful project. The thermal stitch creates a nice, thick fabric that is perfect for potholders. When using cotton yarn, the potholder will not melt and will protect your hands when removing hot dishes from the oven.

These potholders make great gifts for many occasions! Choose the recipients’ favorite colors, or their kitchen colors, for a thoughtful gift! Use full skeins of yarn or scraps of yarn for an eclectic look!

FINISHED SIZE: Approx. 6 ¼” (16 cm) square

SKILL LEVEL: Easy/Intermediate

Approx. 60-70 yds (66-77 m), 1.3-1.5 oz (40-45 g) worsted weight COTTON yarn

Notes:

Models made with 1 skein of Lily Sugar ‘n Cream yarn in #19747 Summer Prints and #01712 Hot Green.
