Learn a new stitch while crocheting a useful project. The thermal stitch creates a nice, thick fabric that is perfect for potholders. When using cotton yarn, the potholder will not melt and will protect your hands when removing hot dishes from the oven.
These potholders make great gifts for many occasions! Choose the recipients’ favorite colors, or their kitchen colors, for a thoughtful gift! Use full skeins of yarn or scraps of yarn for an eclectic look!
FINISHED SIZE: Approx. 6 ¼” (16 cm) square

I love your explanation and video for the thermal stitch. Do you have any video or written explanation for a ROUND thermal stitch?
Thanks!
I'm glad you like my explanation and video for the Thermal Stitch, Chaya. Unfortunately, I don't have a video or written explanation for working this stitch in the round. I think working increases in this stitch may be pretty tricky! Happy crocheting to you!
Great tutorial. Clear and easy to follow instructions. Thank you for the pattern and all the ideas. Will be making my own potholder soon. Thank you!
