In this alternate style of mosaic crochet, the project is reversible, with the main color being predominant on the right side and the contrasting color being predominant on the wrong side. These hot pads are worked continuously with the unused color being carried across to the other end of the work, eliminating tails at the beginning and end of each row. So when you finish crocheting these beauties, you only have 4 ends to weave in and you’re all done!
Pattern is written in US crochet terminology and includes written instructions as well as mosaic crochet charts for crocheting the hot pads.
Watch my free YouTube video where I demonstrate how to crochet the Alternative Spike SC Mosaic Crochet technique and how to carry the yarn across to the other end.
