When following the instructions for the basic granny square given in the Red Heart All In One Granny Square yarn, there isn’t much yarn left from Round 5 to weave in the ending tail, let alone join squares together. With this alternative granny square, there is plenty of yarn left over (approx. 3-4 feet / 91.5-122 cm) to join squares together and weave in the end. This eliminates the need to use a different yarn to join the squares together, making the color used in Round 5 and the joins match perfectly!
Basic stitches are used throughout the square, making it easy for anyone to crochet.
Pattern is written in US crochet terminology and includes written instructions as well as a symbol crochet chart for crocheting the granny square.
